General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) continues to sink deeper into crisis, as an email disclosed by New York Times suggests that the company forced supplier Delphi Automotive PLC (NYSE:DLPH) to continue manufacturing sub-standard ignition switches in 2005. According to the email, GM also insisted that the manufacturer make the faulty switch work, even though the product continued to fail tests.
